Troodos presidential residence to open for Pame Troodos 3 festival

The presidential summer residence in Troodos will open to the public on Sunday, September 6, 2026, for the third edition of the "Pame Troodos 3" festival. The event, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., aims to promote the traditions, products, and communities of Cyprus's mountain villages while providing rare public access to the historic site. Organized under the initiative of First Lady Filippa Karsera Christodoulides, the festival is a collaboration between the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Commissioner’s Office for the Development of Mountain Communities, and the Press and Information Office.

Visitors can expect live music, traditional Cypriot verbal arts, and activities for children, alongside the opportunity to meet local craftspeople and producers. This year, the event incorporates a charitable component, with proceeds supporting the Agros Care Home for the Elderly, "I Eleousa". To manage logistics, organizers have designated two parking areas with free shuttle bus services available to attendees. All visitors are required to carry a valid identification document to enter the residence grounds, which serves as both a cultural venue and a symbol of state significance.
