Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare for return to the UK

Six years after stepping down as working members of the British royal family and relocating to California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to move back to the United Kingdom. King Charles, who was informed of the decision three days before it became public, has expressed personal happiness at the prospect of seeing his family more frequently. However, the Palace has clarified that there are no intentions to reinstate the couple’s former official roles or change their status as private citizens, a position held since their departure in 2020.

Despite the King's personal openness, the situation remains tense regarding other family members. Reports indicate that Prince William is not prepared to reconcile or offer an olive branch, primarily due to the content of Prince Harry’s memoirs, which included criticisms directed at William, Catherine, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.
