Pafos hosts international programming camp at Neapolis University

Paphos is currently hosting the 'Pafos Camp,' an international information technology event held at Neapolis University Paphos in collaboration with JetBrains. The event, which took place as of August 24, 2026, focuses on advanced training and simulation for top students ahead of a major world programming competition.

The camp features participants from nine prestigious international universities, including the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. Savvas Chatzichristofis, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at Neapolis University, and Paphos official Angelos Onisiforou, highlighted the event as a testament to the city’s growing stature as a hub for technology, research, and innovation, fostering strong connections between global academia and the local tech ecosystem.
