Pafos FC signs Yoram Zague from Paris Saint-Germain
Pafos FC has officially announced the acquisition of 20-year-old French defender Yoram Zague from Paris Saint-Germain. The player joins the Cypriot club on a one-year loan deal for the 2026/27 season, with an option to purchase included in the agreement. Born in 2006, Zague has progressed through the PSG youth academy and made his first-team debut in 2024. Last season, he gained experience during loan spells with Copenhagen and Eupen, making a combined 23 appearances. The defender has also represented France at various youth international levels.
Simultaneously, Pafos FC is preparing for a decisive UEFA Conference League play-off second leg against Dinamo City, scheduled for August 27, 2026, at the Alphamega Stadium. Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Albania, manager Ricardo Sa Pinto expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure a victory and qualify for the competition's League Phase. The club, which has reached similar European stages in previous years, views this match as a critical test for their seasonal objectives. Midfielder Dragomir is expected to be available for the squad after increasing his training intensity.
