U.S. removes Syria from list of countries that support terrorism

The United States officially removed Syria from its list of state sponsors of terrorism on Monday, ending a 47-year designation. This decision aims to remove major obstacles to private investment and facilitate Syria's reintegration into the global economy. Additionally, the U.S. lifted sanctions on the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham organization and Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara.
