Tsirion Stadium licensing status update for ENY Ypsonas and Karmiotissa

Krasava ENY Ypsonas and Karmiotissa clubs are adjusting their home venue plans for the start of the 2026 football season due to ongoing licensing procedures at the Tsirion Stadium in Limassol. While the clubs initially scheduled their opening matches at the Ammochostos-Epistrofi and Stelios Kyriakidis stadiums respectively, the management of the Tsirion facility has indicated that pending requirements have now been addressed.

According to Christoforos Michailoudis, spokesperson for ENY Ypsonas, Vice President of GSO Georgios Odysseos confirmed that the stadium is expected to receive its required license shortly. If this authorization is granted, both clubs intend to return to their home city of Limassol to play their matches there for the remainder of the season. Despite the recent positive outlook, the opening fixtures will proceed as originally planned at the alternative venues to avoid further logistical complications while the official paperwork is finalized.
