Tsirion stadium set for licensing as ENY prepares for league opener

As of August 25, 2026, the Krasava ENY Ypsonas football club announced that its home stadium, Tsirion, is nearing official licensing. Club spokesperson Christoforos Michailoudis stated that GSO vice-president Giorgos Odysseos confirmed that minor pending issues identified by the Licensing Authority have been resolved, ensuring the venue will soon be fit for use.

Despite this progress, the club's opening match of the league season against Omonia 29M will still take place at the Ammokhostos-Epistrofi stadium as originally scheduled. If licensing is finalized, the team, along with Karmiotissa, expects to return to playing in their home city of Limassol later in the season. Currently, the club is prioritizing roster development, specifically focusing on strengthening its attacking options to address early season scoring difficulties.

While previous reports suggested the stadium might not be ready in time for early obligations, the latest updates indicate a positive outlook for the facility's availability, contingent on the formal conclusion of the ongoing licensing process.
