Tottenham Hotspur complete double signing of Savinho and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur has finalized two major acquisitions from Manchester City during the summer transfer window. On August 25, 2026, the London club officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder Savinho. The deal for Savinho is valued at 87.5 million euros, with potential bonuses capable of increasing the total fee to 100 million euros. Following this, the club confirmed the permanent signing of 27-year-old Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush.

The transfer of Marmoush follows an initial agreement involving a loan with a mandatory purchase clause set at 50 million pounds. Marmoush joins Tottenham after a challenging tenure at Manchester City, where he managed 8 goals and 3 assists in 36 appearances last season but failed to secure a place in manager Enzo Maresca's plans. These additions represent a significant investment for Tottenham, which has spent approximately 230 million euros on new talent this summer under manager De Zerbi.

Both players are expected to play central roles as the club seeks to bolster its attacking options. While Savinho had spent two years at City, Marmoush arrived in London after previously moving to the Etihad from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025.
