Cyprus football championships schedule announced for youth and professional leagues

The Cyprus Football Association has finalized the schedules for both the elite youth championships and the professional Cyprus League by Stoiximan for the 2026/2027 season. The youth leagues for age groups U-14, U-15, U-16, and U-17 will commence on September 26-27, 2026, featuring 14 participating clubs including AEK, AEL, Anorthosis, APOEL, Apollon, and Omonia. These championships will consist of 26 matchdays played in two rounds.

Simultaneously, the professional Cyprus League has confirmed the fixtures for its third matchday, scheduled between September 11 and September 14, 2026. Key fixtures include AEL versus Nea Salamina at the Alphamega Stadium on September 11, followed by a major encounter between Anorthosis and APOEL at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium on September 12. Other prominent games include Omonia Nicosia facing Apollon, and AEK hosting Pafos FC. The matchday concludes on September 14 with Krasava ENY playing against Aris at the Ammochostos-Epistrofi Stadium. These schedules set the roadmap for both the youth development tiers and the premier professional competition throughout the upcoming autumn season.
