PAOK reaches agreement for the transfer of Ognjen Ugresic from Partizan

PAOK has finalized a deal to acquire 20-year-old Serbian midfielder Ognjen Ugresic from Partizan Belgrade. The transfer fee is reported at 8 million euros plus performance-based bonuses, with the player expected to arrive in Thessaloniki shortly to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract. The 1.88-meter tall playmaker is intended to fill the void left by Giannis Konstantelias, who recently departed for Borussia Dortmund.

Ugresic, a product of Partizan's academy, has recorded 63 appearances with the club, contributing 13 goals and 4 assists, including two goals in seven matches during the current season across league and Champions League qualifying rounds. He has also earned one cap for the Serbian national team. While Transfermarkt values the player at 10 million euros, the clubs settled on 8 million. Panathinaikos had previously shown interest in the player earlier this summer, with reports indicating that their official Stefanos Kotsolis traveled to watch him play, though the transfer did not materialize at that time.
