Upcoming cultural and agricultural festivals in the Paphos district

Several villages in the Paphos district of Cyprus are preparing to host traditional festivals celebrating local agricultural products and cultural heritage throughout late summer and early autumn 2026. The series of events begins with the Resi Festival in Letymbou on August 28 and 29, which highlights traditional wedding culinary customs and features various workshops. Following this, the 8th Orange Festival will take place in Miliou on September 5, focusing on citrus-based products and local hospitality.

Continuing the series, the village of Panagia will host its 6th Harvest Festival on September 13, under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Christos Senekis. This event offers participants an immersive experience, including a hike to vineyards and active participation in the grape harvest. Finally, the village of Arminou will hold its 5th Grape and Grape Products Festival on October 11, featuring demonstrations of grape treading, Zivania distillation, and traditional pastry making, alongside opportunities to explore local nature sites like the Arminou Dam.

These festivals serve as community gatherings designed to preserve rural traditions, promote regional tourism, and engage younger generations in local customs.
