Upcoming traditional festivals in Paphos district villages

The Paphos district will host two cultural events in late 2026, celebrating local agricultural products and traditions. The village of Miliou will hold its 8th Orange Festival on Saturday, September 5, 2026. This family-oriented evening will feature live music, dancing, and various orange-themed culinary creations, including handmade treats prepared by local residents.

Additionally, the village of Arminou is scheduled to host its 5th Grape and Grape Products Festival on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The program includes traditional demonstrations such as grape treading, the production of palouzes and soutzoukos, and zivania distillation. Located approximately 45 minutes from Paphos, the area is also noted for its natural attractions, including the Arminou Dam and the Diarizos Valley, which offer hiking and off-road routes for visitors.
