Manchester United completes transfer of Carlos Baleba from Brighton

Manchester United has officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Baleba from Brighton. This acquisition marks a significant move to strengthen the club's midfield, following previous summer transfers of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.

The transfer deal is valued at 75 million euros, including potential bonuses, and sees the player sign a six-year contract with the Red Devils. Manchester United had pursued Baleba since the previous summer without success, but finally reached an agreement with Brighton following negotiations led by the coaching staff. During the last season, the defensive midfielder played 35 matches for Brighton under managers Jimas and Kostoulas.
