Panathinaikos reaches agreement to sign Watford midfielder Imran Louza

Panathinaikos has secured a verbal agreement with Watford to acquire 27-year-old Moroccan international midfielder Imran Louza. The player, who served as captain for the English Championship side, is expected to arrive in Athens on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, to undergo medical and ergometric examinations before finalizing the deal.

The transfer involves a significant financial investment for the Greek club, with reports indicating a deal valued between 8 and 10 million euros including bonuses. Upon successful completion of his medicals, Louza is set to sign a three-year contract with an option for an additional year, reportedly earning approximately 2 million euros per season.
