Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the United Kingdom from California on August 26, 2026, accompanied by their children, Archie and Lilibet. The couple reportedly traveled privately and plans to reside as private citizens in the Cotswolds, outside London, rather than resuming official royal duties. Their children have already been enrolled in a local school, with classes scheduled to begin next week.

King Charles, who was informed of the family's decision earlier this month, made his first public appearance following the news at Crathie Kirk church near Balmoral, accompanied by Queen Camilla. This move comes six years after the couple made their initial announcement to step back from royal life and depart from the country. Although an official spokesperson for the couple declined to comment on the travel details, the family had previously visited the King at his residence in July of this year.
