Cyprus commissioner highlights children's rights in the digital age

This statement followed a meeting between Perikleous and Christos Christofides, President of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights. During the session, the Commissioner briefed the Committee on an ongoing six-month Child Rights Impact Assessment (CRIA) regarding children's access to social media. The meeting served as part of a wider initiative led by Christofides aimed at drafting a Declaration on Digital Rights, ensuring that children retain their rights to learn, communicate, create, and express themselves in the digital space.
