Crosta Nostra restaurant updates menu in central Nicosia
In late August 2026, the Italian restaurant Crosta Nostra located in central Nicosia announced an update to its menu and cocktail list. The establishment, which derives its name from a play on the phrase “Cosa Nostra” and the crust of Neapolitan pizza, remains committed to the traditional culinary traditions of Southern Italy, specifically focusing on Sicilian and Neapolitan recipes.
The refreshed menu features an array of offerings, including fresh pasta and wood-fired pizzas such as Margherita, Marinara, Capricciosa, Diavola, Quattro Formaggi, and signature options like the Dante Alighieri and Cuor di Leone, the latter featuring Aegina pistachio pesto and stracciatella. Appetizers and salads have also been updated, featuring items such as Caprese with burrata, the fennel-based Palermo salad, and a goat’s cheese salad with dried fig and mandora marmalade. The restaurant operates with both indoor and outdoor pedestrian street seating.
The establishment continues to emphasize its authentic process, noting that dough is rested before being baked at high temperatures in a wood-fired oven. These changes represent the restaurant's ongoing development in the Nicosia culinary scene.
