Scheduled power outages in Paphos district on August 31

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced scheduled power outages across various communities in the Paphos district for Monday, August 31, 2026. These interruptions are necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work on the medium-voltage overhead network.

The service disruptions are scheduled as follows: Goudi will be affected from 08:00 to 10:00. Pano Akourdaleia, Kato Akourdaleia, Terra, Skoulli, Choli, and the northwestern part of Kritou Terra will face outages between 08:00 and 14:00. Additionally, Giolou, Miliou, Simou, Loukrounou, Kritou Terra, Pano Arodes, Kato Arodes, Ineia, Drousia, and Pittokopos will experience power cuts from 10:00 to 14:00.

Consumers are advised that power may be restored earlier than the stated times; therefore, all electrical installations must be treated as live throughout the entire duration of the scheduled window for safety reasons. The EAC has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by these operations.
