United States disrupts Chinese cyber espionage operation

The cyber campaign targeted highly sensitive U.S. government entities, including the Department of Justice, NASA, the Federal Reserve, the Senate, the Department of Energy, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the National Institutes of Health. Additionally, the hackers targeted four unidentified companies in the United States and South Korea. Beijing has consistently denied any involvement in such state-sponsored hacking activities.
