Apollon Limassol sends Clinton Duodu to Sivasspor on loan

Apollon Limassol has officially announced the transfer of 21-year-old winger Clinton Duodu to the Turkish club Sivasspor. Following negotiations between the two teams, the Ghanaian player will move to the Turkish side on a one-year loan deal for the 2026-27 season.

Prior to the loan agreement, Apollon extended Duodu’s contract until May 2028, with an option for an additional season. Duodu, who joined the Limassol team in September 2024 from Bechem United, departs having recorded 50 appearances, four goals, and seven assists for the Cypriot side. The player was scheduled to travel to Sivas on August 27, 2026, to undergo medical examinations and finalize the remaining administrative procedures. This strategic move allows the club to retain rights to the player while providing him with the opportunity to gain further competitive experience in the Turkish league before returning to Kolossi next summer.
