Master plan submitted for Fasouri school and sports hub in Kato Polemidia

A comprehensive master plan for the proposed "Fasouri School" and "Fasouri Academy and Sports Hub" has been submitted to the relevant authorities for review. The project, located in the municipality of Kato Polemidia, aims to develop three self-contained school units spanning from kindergarten through secondary education (gymnasium and lyceum). These facilities will feature modern classrooms, science laboratories, libraries, and designated areas for arts and music.

The development is planned for a site covering 307,844 square metres and is designed to accommodate 4,500 students supported by 145 teaching and administrative staff members. Infrastructure plans include 643 car parking spaces and 57 bus spaces. The sports complex will serve both students and the public under specific conditions, incorporating a multi-purpose indoor hall, football and tennis pitches, a swimming pool, an athletics track, a gym, and courts for basketball, squash, and padel, alongside rehabilitation facilities.

This project represents a major investment in regional infrastructure, combining academic and athletic development. The master plan is currently under evaluation by the authorities, following which a decision regarding the approval of the construction will be reached.
