Giorgos Pantelidis appointed as CEO of Hellenic Healthcare Group
Giorgos Pantelidis, currently serving as the president of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG). The transition is scheduled for January 1, 2027, marking the end of Mr. Pantelidis's twenty-year tenure at the consultancy firm Deloitte.
In his new role, Mr. Pantelidis will oversee the operations of one of the largest private healthcare networks in Greece and Cyprus. The HHG group currently manages a portfolio of 11 hospitals and 23 diagnostic centers, supported by significant international backing from CVC Capital Partners and PureHealth. While shifting to this executive position within the private health sector, sources indicate that he will continue to serve as the president of the OEB.
The appointment is viewed as a significant development for the regional business community, as a prominent Cypriot executive assumes leadership over a major international healthcare enterprise. The move aims to strengthen the group's strategic presence and administrative infrastructure across both countries, signaling a strategic focus on expanding the group's footprint under its current investment structure.
