Alphamega organizes second children's nutrition and cooking workshop
Following the success of their initial event, Alphamega Hypermarkets has announced a second children’s nutrition and cooking workshop as part of their “Child, Nutrition & Health” corporate social responsibility program. The event is designed for children aged 8 to 14 and aims to teach the principles of a balanced diet through a practical, hands-on experience.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Intercollege main campus of the University of Nicosia. Participants are split into two groups based on their region: Group A (09:00 – 12:30) is reserved for children from Nicosia and Larnaca, while Group B (13:00 – 16:30) will accommodate children from Limassol, Paphos, and Paralimni. Under the guidance of Chef and Alphamega Brand Ambassador Christina Christofi, the attendees will prepare healthy recipes. Additionally, members of the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association will provide educational insights on healthy eating habits before the cooking session begins.
This initiative serves as a continuation of Alphamega's ongoing effort to engage the youth in learning about nutrition through creative activities, with the company aiming to host more children than in the previous session.
