Intercollege and Ocean Basket launch Work, Study & Grow program

Intercollege, in partnership with Ocean Basket restaurants, has launched a new initiative titled 'Work, Study & Grow' aimed at integrating academic education with professional experience in the gastronomy sector. The program is available to students across all districts, focusing on students pursuing degrees or diplomas in Culinary Arts, specifically in cooking, pastry making, and baking.

Participants in the program are eligible for scholarships that may cover up to 100% of their tuition fees. Throughout the duration of their studies, students are provided with the opportunity to work at Ocean Basket locations, gaining practical skills and exposure to a real-world professional kitchen environment. This dual-track approach is designed to bridge the gap between formal education and labor market demands, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge immediately while building a competitive professional resume.

By facilitating early immersion into the restaurant industry, the initiative seeks to enhance the employability of graduates, providing them with a distinct career advantage upon completion of their studies.
