Cultural event held at the Ancient Odeon of Paphos

The event, which begins at 8:30 p.m., is part of the broader 'Archaeological Sites in the Light of the August Full Moon' series and operates under the auspices of the new Deputy Minister of Culture, Clea Papaellina.

The evening features a music and storytelling performance by a bouzouki quartet, alongside an guided observation of the constellations hosted by the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation. Organizers state that the program draws inspiration from the ancient Egyptian myth of the Oxyrhynchus fish, which was associated with the god Osiris and serves as a symbol for life, death, memory, and rebirth. The event aims to transform the Ancient Odeon into a vibrant space where historical heritage meets art and astronomy.
