Cyprus Football Association announces priorities for the 2026-2027 season

The Cyprus Football Association (KOP) officially commenced the 2026-2027 football season, with President Charis Loizides outlining the strategic goals for the upcoming year. The association aims to foster a highly competitive and high-quality championship, emphasizing that the primary focus remains on athletic performance and the integrity of the sport.

Key priorities identified by the KOP include ensuring the smooth conduct of matches, maintaining stadium safety, and implementing continuous upgrades across various operational sectors, including officiating. The association collaborated closely with football clubs to prepare for the season's launch. President Loizides also publicly congratulated Omonia and Pafos F.C. for their successful qualification into the League Phase of the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League, respectively.
