Cyprus police issue search notices for three missing or wanted individuals in Nicosia
Cypriot authorities have released urgent appeals for information regarding three individuals currently missing or wanted in the Nicosia district. The police are continuing their search for 35-year-old Mambassi Moukouyou Richmand Dieuveil, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who has been missing from his Nicosia residence since June 5, 2026. He is described as having a regular build and being approximately 1.75 meters tall with short black hair.
Simultaneously, authorities are searching for 35-year-old Syrian national Ahmed Al Zoueid, who is wanted for attempted murder and other serious crimes committed on June 27, 2026. Reports indicate the incident involved the stabbing of his wife and mother-in-law in Strovolos following a verbal dispute. Furthermore, police have issued a warrant for 21-year-old Romanian resident Andrei Fatu, who is sought in connection with serious criminal offenses investigated as occurring between 2024 and 2026 in Nicosia.
The police urge the public to contact the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 22 802222, the nearest police station, or the Citizen’s Line at 1460 with any relevant information. Investigations remain ongoing for all three cases as the individuals have not yet been located.
