Police in Cyprus issue multiple public appeals for missing persons and suspects

Cypriot authorities have released a series of public appeals on August 28, 2026, regarding several individuals involved in various cases. The police are continuing their search for 35-year-old Mambassi Moukouyou Richmand Dieuveil from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who has been missing from his Nicosia residence since June 5, 2026. He is described as 1.75 meters tall with short black hair.

Simultaneously, law enforcement is actively seeking 35-year-old Ahmed Al Zoueid from Syria. He is wanted for a double attempted murder committed on June 27, 2026, in the Strovolos area, where he allegedly stabbed his wife and mother-in-law following a reported domestic altercation. Additionally, police are searching for 21-year-old Romanian national Andrei Fatu, who is wanted in connection with serious criminal offenses committed in the Nicosia district between 2024 and 2026, and 22-year-old Kostas Huseyin, a Paphos resident suspected of vehicle theft on August 27, 2026.

Authorities have urged anyone with information regarding these individuals to contact the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 22-802222, the nearest police station, or the Citizen's Line at 1460 to assist in ongoing investigations.
