Panathinaikos reveals Conference League group stage schedule
Panathinaikos has officially announced its schedule for the 2026-2027 UEFA Conference League group phase after successfully navigating three qualification rounds. Led by manager Jacob Neestrup, the Greek team will face six distinct opponents in a series of matches spanning from October to December 2026.
The campaign begins on October 15 at OAKA stadium against Borac Banja Luka, followed by an away match in Kazakhstan against Kairat Almaty on October 22. The subsequent fixtures include a home match against CSKA Sofia on November 5, an away game against Nordsjaelland on November 26, and a trip to Germany to face Freiburg on December 10. The team will conclude its group stage participation on December 17 at home against the English side Brighton, which features players Babis Kostoulas and Stefanos Tzimas.
Following a demanding qualification process, Panathinaikos now prepares for these six matches. The club seeks to improve its European performance as it navigates this tournament phase. The fixtures are scheduled in the evening hours, specifically at 19:45 and 22:00, with one exception for the match in Almaty, which will kick off at 17:30.
