APOEL Nicosia set to loan Diego Rosa to Qarabag

APOEL Nicosia is in the final stages of completing the loan of Brazilian midfielder Diego Rosa to the Azerbaijani club Qarabag. According to club president Charis Fotiou, the decision to facilitate the transfer was driven by the club’s current financial needs and the player's own desire to move.

The departure of Rosa has significantly altered APOEL’s recruitment strategy, making the acquisition of a new midfielder an urgent priority for manager Nikos Papadopoulos. In addition to bolstering the midfield, the club is currently focusing on signing a center-forward to strengthen the squad's attacking options.
