Kenan Kodro arrives in Crete to finalize transfer to OFI
Bosnian striker Kenan Kodro arrived in Heraklion, Crete, on Friday, August 28, 2026, to finalize his transfer to OFI. The 33-year-old international, who represented Bosnia 15 times, reached a definitive agreement with the Greek club following successful negotiations with his previous team, Ferencvaros. Kodro underwent mandatory medical examinations on Friday evening, with results expected on Saturday to pave the way for an official announcement.
Kodro brings significant European experience, having developed at Real Sociedad and played for clubs including Osasuna, Athletic Bilbao, Real Valladolid, and Zaragoza. Last season, while on loan from Ferencvaros to Zaragoza, he recorded eight goals in 34 appearances. His career includes titles in Denmark with Copenhagen, Hungary with Ferencvaros, and the Spanish Super Cup with Athletic Bilbao. In the meantime, the OFI management has officially denied rumors linking the club to Greek national team captain Tasos Bakasetas, stating there has been no interest or communication regarding the player.
