Traffic restored on Limassol-Paphos highway following road accident

On the morning of August 30, 2026, a serious road traffic accident occurred on the Limassol–Paphos highway near the Avdimou exit heading toward Paphos. The incident led to the temporary closure of the motorway, causing significant disruption to motorists traveling between the two cities.

During the closure, authorities redirected drivers to use the old Limassol–Paphos road via the Avdimou exit to bypass the site of the collision.
