Police search for two missing teenagers in Nicosia

The Cyprus Police are currently searching for two teenagers reported missing in the Nicosia district. The first individual, 14-year-old Evanthia Bletsa, has been missing since August 30, 2026, from her residence in Nicosia. She is approximately 1.65 meters tall, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a green shirt, and white shoes.

The second missing individual is 14-year-old Atif Sammour, a Syrian national residing in Strovolos, who has been missing since August 28, 2026. He is described as being of slim build, approximately 1.82 meters tall, with short black hair.

Authorities have issued public appeals for both cases, requesting that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either teenager contacts the Nicosia CID at 22802222, their nearest police station, or the Citizen’s Line at 1460. Investigations into both disappearances are ongoing.
