The images, which show him wearing a grey prison uniform and making a victory sign, depict a noticeably thinner Maduro held at a facility in New York.

According to the camera's timestamp, the photographs were taken on June 25, one day after a catastrophic dual earthquake in Venezuela that resulted in more than 6,500 deaths and thousands of missing persons.
