Road closure scheduled on Aradippou-Athienou road

The Cyprus Police have announced a temporary closure of the road connecting Aradippou and Athienou in the Larnaca district. The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic on August 31, 2026, between 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. local time.

This 15-minute closure is necessary to facilitate scheduled road cleaning works in the area. Authorities have strongly urged drivers to utilize alternative routes until the cleaning operations are completed to ensure both public safety and the efficiency of the maintenance crews.
