Karol Angielski signs with Nea Salamina

Nea Salamina has officially announced the acquisition of 30-year-old Polish striker Karol Angielski. The agreement was finalized on August 31, 2026, following a period of advanced negotiations. The player has signed a one-year contract with the Cypriot club after terminating his previous arrangement with Pogoń Szczecin.

Angielski, who stands 1.81 meters tall, is well-known to the Cypriot football public due to his previous tenure at AEK Larnaca. During his most recent spell with Pogoń Szczecin, the forward struggled to secure consistent playing time, recording 11 appearances and scoring one goal across 549 minutes of play. His career also includes stints at several Polish clubs, including Radomiak Radom and Wisła Płock, as well as time spent in Greece with Atromitos.

The transfer represents a significant move for Nea Salamina as the team looks to strengthen its offensive lineup for the current season in the Cypriot First Division. With the contract officially signed and the paperwork completed, Angielski is now set to join the squad and begin his tenure wearing the red and white jersey.
