Nea Salamina in advanced talks with striker Karol Angielski
Cypriot club Nea Salamina is currently in advanced negotiations to sign 30-year-old Polish striker Karol Angielski. Reports from Poland, including details shared by journalist Kamil Pawelczyk, suggest the deal is nearing completion. Angielski is expected to finalize the termination of his existing contract with Pogon Szczecin before finalizing his move to Cyprus.
Angielski, who previously played for AEK Larnaca, saw limited playing time during his tenure at Pogon Szczecin. He recorded only 11 appearances across all competitions, logging 549 minutes of play and scoring a single goal. Nea Salamina is actively seeking to bolster its offensive lineup for the current season, and the Polish forward has been identified as a priority target to strengthen the team's attacking options.
Following the expected resolution of his contract status in Poland, the parties involved are anticipated to sign a formal agreement. If finalized, this move will mark the second time the striker has left the Ekstraklasa to pursue a career abroad, with Nea Salamina hoping his experience will provide a necessary boost to their first-division campaign.
