Fatal shipwreck off the coast of Kyrenia leaves 8 dead and 20 missing

On Sunday afternoon, August 30, 2026, a passenger catamaran operated by Filo Denizcilik sank approximately four miles off the coast of Kyrenia while en route to Turkey.
