Atm explosion and robbery in Perachora, Corinthia

On Monday, August 31, 2026, unidentified perpetrators carried out a robbery at an automated teller machine (ATM) in the village of Perachora, Corinthia. The suspects arrived at the scene at approximately 5:00 a.m. and used explosives to destroy the machine, resulting in significant damage.

The perpetrators successfully removed a cash cassette containing approximately 91,000 euros. Following the explosion, the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction and remain at large.

The Corinth Department for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes has launched an extensive investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects.
