Motorcyclist survives bizarre accident in Colombia after flying into bus

A highly unusual traffic accident occurred in Guadalajara de Buga, in the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia, on August 31, 2026. Security camera footage captured the moment a motorcyclist entered an intersection and, according to initial reports, failed to obey a priority sign, resulting in a violent collision with the side of a passing bus.

The force of the impact launched the rider off his motorcycle at a trajectory that led him directly through the bus's open entrance door. Instead of striking the pavement, the man landed inside the bus, sliding along the aisle and onto the passenger seats, which reportedly cushioned his fall. Remarkably, despite the severity of the collision, the man was able to stand up on his own and exit the vehicle under his own power shortly after the incident.
