Cyprus provides 200,000 euros in humanitarian aid to Nepal following floods

On Monday, August 31, 2026, the Republic of Cyprus announced a humanitarian aid package of 200,000 euros to support Nepal following severe and lethal flooding. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its #CyprusAid initiative, confirmed the contribution via the social media platform X.

The funds are designated for the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) and UNICEF. This financial assistance aims to address the immediate needs of affected families and bolster ongoing humanitarian relief operations on the ground.
