Russian forces advance near Druzhkovka in eastern Ukraine

Russian military forces are approaching the city of Druzhkovka in eastern Ukraine, currently positioned approximately 15 kilometers from the urban center. The region is experiencing intense artillery fire and drone attacks, resulting in significant destruction of residential buildings, marketplaces, and infrastructure, rendering parts of the area effectively uninhabitable.

Ukrainian military expert Konstantin Mashovets reported that Russian assault groups have managed to break through towards the direction of Kramatorsk from the east. According to these accounts, the forces successfully bypassed the towns of Konstantinovka and Druzhkovka and crossed the Seversky Donets-Donbas canal over a wide front. These movements reflect a broader trend of escalation along the 1,200-kilometer front line in eastern and southern Ukraine.

The situation remains critical for the remaining civilian population as combat operations continue to intensify. While Russian forces continue their gradual advance, the strategic landscape in the Donbas region remains volatile, with military analysts closely monitoring the maneuverability of Russian units near these key logistical hubs.
