Charity Idols Cyprus celebrates five years of humanitarian activity

Charity Idols Cyprus recently celebrated its fifth anniversary during a special event held at the Paragka restaurant in Paralimni. The organization, which focuses on raising funds through online auctions, marked half a decade of service supported by members, sponsors, and ambassadors.

Since its inception, the organization has conducted 1,237 electronic auctions, successfully raising €176,243. These funds have provided financial support to 94 different charitable causes and individuals in need. During the celebration, three new ambassadors were officially appointed—Ivan Trickovski, Filippa Savva, and Loukritia Chrysostomou—joining existing representatives Giorgos Merkis and Neofytos Michail. Additionally, honorary plaques were awarded to volunteers for their contributions.

The event also highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the charity and the sports community. Representatives from Omonia Nicosia, AEK Larnaca, and Pegeia-Akamas Ladies attended, donating collectible jerseys to be used in future fundraising auctions.
