KEO PLC plans new industrial facility in Polemidia, Limassol
The KEO PLC company is moving forward with plans to construct a new beverage production, bottling, and distribution center in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol. The project, which has received a positive reasoned conclusion from the Environmental Authority as of August 27, 2026, carries an estimated budget of €25 million.
The facility will be situated on a 62,335-square-meter plot, with the industrial structures covering approximately 44,000 square meters. The development includes a designated green space of 9,612 square meters located near the road leading to the Limassol Port. The site is zoned for economic activities and is situated at a distance of 70 meters from the nearest residence, with the 16th Zakaki Elementary School and Agia Varvara Gymnasium located approximately 560 and 645 meters away, respectively.
The center is designed for an annual production capacity of nearly 5,000 tons, including 2,550 tons of natural juices. While the project has secured its environmental approval, construction has not yet commenced. Once all remaining required permits are obtained, the construction phase is expected to last 24 months. The project must comply with a series of technical and environmental conditions stipulated by the authorities.
