Cypriot Defense Minister attends EU informal council in Ireland

Cypriot Defense Minister Vasilis Palmas attended the informal EU Foreign Affairs Council, held in the configuration of Defense Ministers, in Wicklow, Ireland, on September 1, 2026. The meeting took place under the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU to coordinate regional security policies and defense strategies.
