Ministry of Education opens registration for adult education centers

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth in Cyprus has officially launched the registration period for its adult education centers for the 2026 academic cycle. Enrollment is open from September 1 until the end of the month for all residents aged 18 and older. Classes are scheduled to commence during the second half of October 2026.

The programs, which serve over 25,000 participants annually, offer a wide range of subjects designed to meet diverse educational needs at low tuition costs. Each course consists of 25 weekly, 90-minute sessions throughout the year. Prospective students must register electronically to select their preferred courses. To ensure the formation of a class, a minimum of nine participants is required for rural centers, while urban centers require at least 11 enrolled members. This initiative represents the largest adult education project in Cyprus, aimed at fostering lifelong learning across the country.
