Omonia completes roster shifts with Luuk Brouwers signing and Nikolas Panagiotou transfer

Omonia Nicosia has finalized two significant roster changes involving the Eredivisie. The Cypriot club officially signed 28-year-old Dutch midfielder Luuk Brouwers from SC Heerenveen on a 2+1 year contract, with the player set to wear the number 20 jersey. Brouwers, who previously played for Heerenveen, Utrecht, and Go Ahead Eagles, aims to strengthen Omonia's midfield as they compete in the UEFA Europa League League Phase.

Simultaneously, Omonia confirmed the permanent transfer of 26-year-old Cypriot defender Nikolas Panagiotou to the Dutch club FC Utrecht. Panagiotou, who had been with Omonia since 2019, signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional season and has been assigned the number 5 jersey. This move marks a major career step for the international defender, who concluded a seven-year stint in Nicosia that included multiple domestic titles and European campaign participations.
