Missing 75-year-old woman found safe in Geroskipou

A 75-year-old woman was successfully located after going missing in the coastal area of Geroskipou on the evening of Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The elderly woman became separated from her relatives while they were preparing to depart the area, prompting them to alert the police immediately.

Following the report, authorities launched a search and rescue operation with the assistance of the Civil Defense. The woman was found late at night sitting in a roundabout on the road leading to Paphos Airport. She was reported to be in good health and was subsequently reunited with her family.
