New board of directors established at the Cyprus Sports Organization

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the Cyprus Sports Organization (KOA) officially inaugurated its new board of directors during a ceremony held at the organization's event hall in the presence of staff members.

KOA President Giannis Ioannou introduced two new board members, Filippos Tsiattalas and Andreas Christodoulou. The board continues to include Vice President Rikkos Pattichis, along with members Konstantina Pafiti, Stavros Michailidis, Andreas Papallis, Theodoros Kafkaridis, and Charalampos Miris. Additionally, Vasos Koutsiountas was welcomed as the new General Manager. President Ioannou emphasized the importance of collective effort to meet the organization's goals.

The restructuring included the departure of Vice President Kalli Chatziiosif, who concluded her second term, and board member Alkis Galatopoulos. The outgoing members expressed their gratitude for the trust and collaboration fostered during their tenure, while President Ioannou noted that their contributions were significant and that they would remain welcome within the sports community.
