Artist Peter Tooby to hold charity exhibition for oncology center in Ayia Napa

Artist Peter Tooby is set to present a one-night charity exhibition titled "Art for Life’s Sake" at the Ayia Napa Marina Event Center on Friday, September 18, 2026. The event, which will be open to the public from 7 pm to 10 pm, features approximately 50 works, including paintings, drawings, and photo canvas prints. All proceeds from the sale of these artworks will be donated to the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre.

The initiative is co-organized with Ayia Napa Marina as part of its corporate social responsibility program. "Art for Life’s Sake" was established in 2014 by a group of artists dedicated to supporting individuals affected by cancer. While the group previously focused on fundraising for Cancer Research UK, this specific event aims to support cancer care directly within Cyprus.

Visitors will have the unique opportunity to view and purchase the collection, directly contributing to oncology services. The collaboration highlights the role of the arts in social advocacy and community support, with organizers emphasizing the importance of utilizing creative projects to benefit health services.
